Regular attendance is important. Our minds can grasp quickly, but it takes constant repetition for the body to really “get” the movement. Excessive absences or lateness to class will impede progress. Students are expected to attend all classes except when ill or injured. In the event of an absence, please notify the SORBS office in advance at
tel: 97328077 / 64665363. Missed classes must be made up if the student wishes to maintain the level achieved. All classes missed must be made up as quickly as possible. Students must make-up the class in a level of equal or lower difficulty. When making up a class, check-in at the reception desk to inform them you are doing a make-up class.

Any student who’s planing to leave the school advised to write and send to our  e-mail a withdrawal letter. Please take a note:  We will  proceed  with deposit  refund during next  30 days from the date of the letter and students  are require to attend our school classes during this period.

Because dance requires great concentration and focus, it is difficult for both the individual and the group when a student comes in late. We understand that being late is sometimes unavoidable, but it needs to be minimized. It is important to remember to allow time to change clothes and use the bathroom before class begins. Dressing rooms are provided. The lobby can’t be used as a changing room. It is not safe to dance without warming up; therefore, any dancer arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to watch class.

All students must wear their specific dance attire to their various courses. Please refer to our website for their various attire requirements. At no time may a student wear jeans to class. Proper dance attire and shoes are MANDATORY for safety and the overall well being of the student’s dance education. An instructor reserves the right to dismiss a student from class after one warning. Please respect our policy, it is to benefit the students and allow them to become the dancer they desire to be. All Jazz pants should be ankle length, ballet skirts, and shorts above the knee. We do not recommend that you share dance shoes, it is not good for sanitary reasons and does not ensure proper fit of dance shoes.

HAIR: All students are required to wear their hair neatly tied up in a bun. For younger children, please tie your hair neatly in a ponytail.

RECEPTION AREA: Our school recommends that parents and siblings DO NOT linger in the reception area once you drop your child for class, it makes it very noisy and disruptive for your child attending class as well as our staff trying to conduct business at this area.

Please make and accept your phone calls outside the school and keep our reception area private and quiet.

RECITAL: The recital will be held at the end of each regular season. Dates of this event will be advertised at a later date and will be posted before January 1st. It is up to parents and guardians to make sure they do not schedule any other events during this time that may interrupt the dancers’ performance dates. Ticket prices will be advertised at a later date. Each student family will need to purchase a minimal amount of tickets based on enrollment and announced before ticket day.All attendees need to purchase a ticket, Infants will receive a free lap ticket if under the age of three years old, it is the LAW, and we need to account for everyone attending the recital. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Anyone without a ticket will not be allowed in the event location. The Dance Haven is attentively looking into June to hold their annual recital. A recital and dress rehearsal date will be posted by January.

• Attendance is important in order to receive the best dance education possible.
• Please contact or inform your child’s instructor or the office when a class will be missed.
• Students should arrive to class early in order to prepare for class physically and mentally. This also allows the instructor to start class on time.
• If a class is missed, a make-up can be scheduled in a different class. This must be done within 4 weeks of the missed class. Please speak with your
child’s instructor to decide which class would be best for your child and schedule the class with the office.
• Class cancellation due to weather will not be made up by the instructor. If you would like to make up the class you can schedule a make up class during our regular weekly classes. Please check
